Amanah Freight operates a load board for US trucking at amanahfreight.com, together with the Amanah Driver mobile app. Brokers post freight, carriers bid on it, and drivers run the trip and file the paperwork.
We are a marketplace, not a party to your freight. Amanah Freight is not a motor carrier, not a freight broker, and not a freight forwarder. We do not take possession of cargo, we do not arrange transportation, and we are not a party to any contract of carriage formed through the platform. When a broker awards a load to a carrier, the resulting agreement is between those two businesses.
Accounts are created by a business, not by the public. A carrier or broker account is created when the company registers; a driver account is created from a carrier’s invite link, and there is no open sign-up in the driver app.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the people you invite into your company’s account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts on behalf of the business you represent.
This section is deliberately specific, because “verified” is the word this industry misuses most.
We may look up a company’s USDOT or MC number against the FMCSA’s public records and show what we find. That is a lookup of a public database at a point in time. It is not an endorsement, a credit check, an insurance verification, a safety audit, or a guarantee that a company is who it claims to be, that it holds active operating authority today, or that it will perform.
You remain responsible for vetting your counterparty. Confirm authority, insurance, and identity yourself before you tender freight or accept a load. Nothing shown on the platform replaces your own diligence.
We do not handle your money. Amanah Freight does not process payments between brokers and carriers, does not hold funds, and is not an escrow, factor, or payment processor. Invoices and settlement records on the platform are a shared record of what the two parties agreed; moving the money is between them.
Any fees we charge for use of the platform are separate, and will be stated to you before they apply.
The platform exists partly to make freight fraud harder to commit and easier to prove. To that end it keeps records, and you should expect them to be kept.
Messages between a broker and a carrier are stored in an append-only log secured by a hash chain: messages cannot be edited or deleted after the fact, by you or by us, and any tampering is detectable. Bills of lading, proofs of delivery, trip timestamps and truck position history are retained and are visible to the parties on that load.
We may disclose records where we are legally required to, and to a party to a dispute about the load those records concern.
The driver app shares a truck’s position with that driver’s carrier and with the broker on the load being run, while the trip is active. It runs through a foreground service with a notification the driver can see the whole time it is on, and it stops when the trip ends. The app does not track location in the background outside an active trip.
Drivers: your employer decides whether running this app is a condition of your work. That is between you and them. What we commit to is that the app does not share your position outside an active load, and that you can see when it is on.
Do not misrepresent your identity, your operating authority, your insurance, or your equipment. Do not post freight you do not control, and do not bid on freight you cannot lawfully haul.
Do not re-broker a load without the express written consent of the broker who tendered it. Double-brokering is the specific harm this platform is built to detect, and it is grounds for immediate and permanent removal.
Do not falsify a position, a timestamp, or a document — including by running the driver app on a device that reports a location the truck is not at. Do not scrape the platform, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or access data belonging to a company you are not part of.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to. Where it is safe and lawful to do so we will tell you why.
You can stop using the platform at any time. Records of completed loads, and the message log for them, are retained after an account closes — they are evidence about transactions that happened, and the other party to them has a legitimate interest in their survival.
We do not promise the platform will be available without interruption. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because something has broken. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything that matters to your business, and do not rely on it for anything safety-critical.
Position tracking depends on a phone, a mobile network and satellite positioning, none of which we control. A gap in tracking is not evidence of anything by itself.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Amanah Freight is not liable for loss or damage to cargo, for freight charges, detention, or claims between a broker and a carrier, for the acts or omissions of any user, or for indirect or consequential loss including lost profits or lost business.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may change these terms. When we change them in substance we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in, and we record which version you accepted and when. If you do not accept, you can stop using the platform.
